The Host Hotel is situated at Harrisburg, the Pennsylvania State Capital along the mile wide Susquehanna River. This location is in easy striking distance of Washington DC, Baltimore, Philadelphia and even NYC is but 3 hours away. Locally we have Gettysburg Civil War Battlefield, National Civil War Museum, Lancaster County Amish Country, major Outlet shopping, the Hollywood Casino and more. Many of the attractions will be included in the 3 Bus Tours and 10 Motorcycle Rides that are offered.
Host Hotel - The Sheraton Harrisburg-Hershey Hotel (located at 4600 Lindle Road - Harrisburg, PA 17111, 717.564.5511) is familiar with the Blue Knights having hosted a very successful 2013 Fall Tri-State Conference also conducted by PA V Chapter. Our Host hotel will be freshly renovated just prior to the convention. Traditional $229 rates have been lowered to $129.00 per night (plus 11% state & local tax) and since rooms are limited, we have two comparable co-host hotels available. The Sheraton can handle all the arrangements. There are also 16 additional hotels that are within 1 mile (1.6km) of the Host Hotel, so there are many choices. (see Host Hotel page)

SRC- 2015 Bk Fl Xxix Law Ride
The 2015 BK FL XXIX Law Ride is going to be held on Feb 7, 2015, but we will once again be making this a 2-3 day Blue Knight event as we did last year with a few changes.
The lodging will be at the same hotel, however, it now is the Magnuson Grand Hotel, 7491 W. Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy, Kissimmee, FL 34747 for the GPS entry.
The room rate for the event is $45.00 plus the taxes per night for members of the Blue Knights and their guests who like last year came to enjoy the weekend.
When booking a room, it is suggested that you contact the Sales Rep, Mercedes, at 407-589-2175 to make the reservation for the nights you wish to stay. When making the reservation, you MUST state that it is for the BLUE KNIGHTS LAW RIDE. You may also call the reservation desk at 407-396-6000, but try Mercedes first.
There is a new chef on staff. last year the buffet on Saturday night at the hotel was a little to be desired. We have been assured it will be satisfactory!.
Last year we had a hospitality room off the elevator on the second floor that was always packed when we had it open. Under the new management, they are giving us a new Hospitality Room which is MUCH larger, very private, and will be much nicer to socialize in, located near the back entrance past the dining area on the first floor. Any chapter bringing a bottle for the event, please pick the remains of your bottle up on Saturday night or make arrangements with me to get it Sunday morning(if there is any liquid left!!). The hospitality room will be open Friday afternoon, evening, and on Saturday. There will be designated parking for the bikes again this year.
We are arranging for free bus transportation to a local restaurant, (Italian) on Friday night to and from the hotel so no one needs to have to ride if they wish, leaving the hotel at approx 6:45-7P. More info will be put out on that when the prices are confirmed for the meal, with a private room for us to enjoy. We won't have scheduled rides on Friday, but for any of you coming in on Thursday evening, we will have flyers on rides in the area.
On Saturday evening, for those who wish, we will have a buffet with three meats, sides, beverage, and dessert at the hotel for $13.00 per person, and designated seating. No one needs to worry about riding all day, having a drink or two, and then have to go out on the road again.
For the ride, it will be $20.00 for the rider, and $10.00 for the passenger, escorted and led by the Osceola Sheriff Motor Unit, of which our President is in charge of. The Sheriff's helicopter is planning on flying over the ride again, and is a awesome sight to see in itself.
The ride will start and end at Orlando Harley South, a close distance from the hotel. There will be door prizes and static displays from the agencies, and several vendors on site. We feel this entire weekend will be even better than last year!!
Any guest of the hotel wishing to attend any of the attractions will be provided free shuttle to and from the hotel as in the past.
What we Need from You!!
Please make your reservations as soon as possible. We have many rooms being held for this event. Please indicate if you would be interested in attending the buffet on Saturday night, and you may pay for that when you check in. The earlier we have some numbers, the better we may plan on providing rooms and food, as well as giving you a enjoyable weekend!
Bring your swimsuits if you wish to enjoy the indoor heated pool and hot tub.
If you have questions, please email me or the chapter.
Because of the liquor license, please do NOT leave the hospitality room with a alcoholic beverage.
The proceeds of this event go to any LEO or embedded Paramedic of a SWAT Team injured or killed in the line of duty who is a member of the Osceola Sheriff's Dept, Saint Cloud PD, Kissimmee PD, or FHP Trooper assigned to Osceola County, FL.
Thank you again for your support of this event, a fund that we hope we never need to use!
